Introduction to Art

Let’s learn about art! This class is about discovering artists and different art techniques. Students will learn about different artists and styles while exploring a variety of mediums including paint, pastels, collage, 3-dimensional art, and more. This experimental learning class will leave you excited about art and ready to do more! We will get messy. So, wear your old clothes or bring a smock. $10 materials fee to be paid at registration.

Lucie’s class offers a safe and nurturing environment for the creative process to students of all levels. Inspiration comes through sharing ideas, stimulating critiques and challenging assignments. Painting Studio

Beginners through advanced students are invited to work in this oil, acrylic and pastel painting studio. Novices are welcome and begin the session with lessons in drawing and color theory. Students may focus on study of the basics or develop and refine skills. Individualized instruction and pace makes this art class a relaxed learning environment for artists at any level. Silversmithing

Play with fire! Bang on metal! Drill, saw and learn a variety of silversmithing techniques to create your own finished piece of silver jewelry. Beginners will learn the basics in metalsmithing and jewelry design while more advanced students will be encouraged to explore new concepts and techniques based on individual skill level. A supply fee of $80 is to be paid at the first class for beginners. Returning students may purchase supplies as needed.

Learn the hypnotic undulations and exciting hip movements that work your core muscles and celebrate the joy of the female soul! Beginners or experienced dancers are welcome.

Learning to draw is like creating puzzle. This class will help you join all the pieces: value, shape, proportion, and composition. Learn to draw “sight to hand” utilizing techniques that develop drawing skills while learning artistic language.
Adult Aerobic Hip Hop
