DETAILS AT A GLANCE
- Hours: 9:00 - 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- Daily Arrival between 8:30 - 9:00 AM
- Pre Care available from 8:00 - 8:30 AM ($10 per week per child)
- After Care available from 4:00 - 5:00 PM ($10 per week per child)
- Classes begin promptly at 9:00 AM
- Weather cancellations:96.9 FM, 1240 AM, or WINK-TV 11
- Campers must be entering 1st through entering 6th grade in the fall.
- Bring a lunch. Light snacks are provided (no camper access to fridge or microwave)
- Bring a paint shirt or smock.
- Recommended footwear: tennis shoes
- Gallery reception and performance for family and friends, every Friday at 2:30.
TUITION AND FEES
- First week: $205/$160*
- Each additional week: $200/$155*
- Additional children in a family discounted $5 per week
- Alliance members always pay the lower price
- Alliance members may register for summer camp beginning Feb. 1, 2009. All others may register beginning March 1, 2009. Not a member? A family Membership is $75
- Scholarships are available based on financial need please call 939-2787 for more information or email.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended with minimum 50% deposit. Balance is due one week prior to each session. We accept cash, check, MasterCard, VISA, or American Express.
Camp fills quickly; please register early!
REFUND POLICY
- A 50% deposit is required to pre-register. (membership fee must be paid in full to receive membership discount).
- Balance is due one week prior to camp start date.
- A credit card is required to hold weeks in which a balance is due. Credit cards will be charged automatically one week prior to camp start date unless alternate payment has been made.
- Two weeks notice is required for all cancellations to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made after this date are subject to forfeiture of deposit.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships to the Alliance for the Arts Summer Arts Camp will be judged on a financial basis. Proof of financial need is required. There are limited opportunities; decisions are on a first come basis. For more information, please call Scott Guelcher at 939-2787.

Week #1 June 22 - June 26
Lights on Broadway
They say there's magic in the air during this popular week of Summer Arts Camp. Don't miss the Broadway tunes that'll have you tapping your toes and humming your favorites long after summer is through. Includes a special backstage tour of the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.
Week #2 June 29 - July 3
Salute to America
Join us for a celebration!! Fireworks, watermelon, apple pie, and Old Glory flying high; this week is sure to make you proud to be an American.
Week #3 July 6 - July 10
Down on the Farm
Count your chickens and grab your hats, as we do-si-do our way into a week full of farm fun! Imagine apple orchards and tall haystacks, as you create masterpieces and performances with a "down home" flare.
Week #4 July 13 - July 17
Rhymes and Tales
Bring your favorite nursery rhymes and fables to life! Join us for a week filled with stories, songs, and characters you all know and love. Take a trip to the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre for lunch and see a performance of Peter Pan!!
Week #5 July 20 - July 24
Space is the Place
Travel to a distant planet; explore a galaxy far away. This week will have campers blasting off to space and shooting for the stars. 3, 2, 1... FUN!
Week #6 July 27 - July 31
Beach Bonanza
Surf's Up this week! Grab your towel as we head to the beach. Get ready to splish - splash as the Alliance Summer Camp heats up! This week is all about fun, fun, fun!
Week #7 August 3 - August 7
Around the World in Five Days
Pack a bag and grab your camera to explore different and exciting cultures as we travel around the world. Imagine the exotic places you will see... London, Paris, Egypt, Japan...fill your passport, if you can. _____________________________________________________________

DETAILS AT A GLANCE
- Musical Theatre Camp will be held at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre located at 1380 Colonial Blvd.
- All registrations and questions should be directed to Scott Guelcher at Alliance for the Arts: (239) 939-2787 or email education@artinlee.org.
- Campers must be entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in the fall of 2009
- Hours are 9:00 - 4:00 Monday - Friday
Daily Arrival between 8:45 and 9:00 am - Cabaret stage performance each Friday at 4:00 pm for family and friends
Curriculum will include how to’s on: auditioning, group and solo singing, scene study, basic music theory, behind-the-scenes work, various styles of dance, and much more!
Campers should bring/wear the following: three ring binder, comfortable clothes you can move in, sneakers or dance shoes (no flip flops or sandals), water bottle, a bag lunch for Monday and Tuesday
(hot lunch will be provided Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)
PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
First Week Tuition: $295/$250*
Each Additional Week: $290/$245*

Rockin' It On Broadway
OMG you guys! Get ready to rock and roll this week! You won't be able to sit still when you perform from your favorite shows such as: Legally Blonde, Rent, The Wedding Singer, Mamma Mia and more! Dance on in and let's rock out!
Week #2 July 6 - July 10
Shows About Showbiz
Curtain up! Lights on the lights! This week we'll celebrate showbiz with musicals about entertainers. Featuring the dancing choruses of 42nd Street and A Chorus Line, the vaudevillians of Gypsy and the star struck kids from Fame, it's time to pull out your tap shoes and take a bow.
Week #3 July 13 - July 17
Disney on Broadway
Hakuna Matata! Join us this week as we go under the sea with The Little Mermaid, around the bend with Pocahontas, through the jungle with The Lion King, and out on the basketball court with High School Musical. We'll also explorer material from Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and more. This week will be magical. Go Wildcats!
Week #4 July 20 - July 24
Christmas in July
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Join us as we celebrate everyone's favorite holiday - Broadway style! Deck the halls this summer as we visit shows with Christmas songs and scenes such as: White Christmas, Annie, Mame and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Don't miss this week or you'll get coal in your stocking.
Week #5 July 27 - July 31
Around the World
Need a vacation? This week we will travel around the globe using famous Broadway shows as our guide. From the famed Parisian Opera house in The Phantom of the Opera to the streets of Buenos Aries in Evita, it's a whirlwind tour of some of Broadway's favorite destinations. We'll also cover material from Les Miserables, Cabaret, The Kind and I and Fiddler on the Roof so grab your passport and let's go.
Week #6 August 3 - August 7
Fantastic Fantasies
Do you dream of "Defying Gravity" like Elphaba in Wicked or prowling around like a feline in Cats? This week we'll make ourselves up into some of the most fantastical characters Broadway has to offer from the singing elephants and birds of Suessical to the lost boys and pirates from Peter Pan. If you love make-up, costumes, or characters that take you to Neverland, this week is for you.
**Each week also includes a live show at the Broadway Palm and a question and answer discussion with production staff after the performance**
