CHANGE: Communities Harnessing the Arts to Nurture and Grow Equity

The CHANGE Acting Program is a 9-week course at the Alliance for the Arts that seeks to engage adults of minority communities in the theatre arts. Students explore the fundamentals of acting, character development and scene work and the course culminates with a community showcase. A community that embraces CHANGE is a community which celebrates and nurtures its diversity; bridging social and cultural gaps through the arts for community enrichment.

Please join us for a special presentation of The Colored Museum by George C. Wolfe  presented by the Alliance CHANGE program on Sunday, August 5 at the IMAG Theatre, 2000 Cranford Avenue, Fort Myers FL. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. with 6 p.m. performance.

Thank you to the IMAG for hosting and to the Southwest Florida Community Foundation for supporting this project!

We’re so excited to have you join us! Because of the overwhelming response, we have hit capacity and are no longer accepting RSVPs.
