It’s a proven fact that participating in the arts can have numerous benefits to our society: Art can help children develop social skills and creativity, and can positively impact their academic performance. Art can help children express their thoughts, feelings, and identities. It can also increase self-awareness and help people be open to new ideas and perspectives.
The Alliance has created a new After-School Art Club designed for Elementary-Middle School aged children. Students can participate in weekly projects led by an Instructor or they can bring their own projects to work in a community of other creative students. The After-School Art Club will provide an afternoon snack, supplies for the weekly project and the space and guidance to help students break out of their shells to explore a whole new world of creativity.
Join us by purchasing a monthly Art Club package and receive a discount, OR Drop In when you can for a $15/member, $20/non-member fee.
