Beginner Hoop Dance Class (Ages 13+)
This Beginner Hoop Class is a month-long series with one class per week. The first class being a day of conversation and questions, a demonstration of where this could take you, an exercise called sway, common terminology intro, waist hooping, and then practice. Week two will be recap from week one, sway, more common terminology, intro to hand hooping, and practice. Week three will be sway, recap, more terminology, intro to planes, and more practice. Week four will consist of sway, recap, more terminology, either vortex or isolations, and practice. If there is a week five due to there being five weeks in the month instead of only four, the last class will consist of the same things as week four but we will do either the vortex or isolation, whichever we didn’t do prior.
