Beginning Acrylic Painting (Ages 16+)

Join artist and instructor Leo Johnson for your first step into painting with acrylic paints.  In each class Leo will help students advance from beginners to painters by introducing the basics of acrylic painting including mixing colors, using brushes, use of the palette knife, and many other techniques.  If you have never taken a class in acrylics or have just begun your journey into acrylic painting, this class is for you!

3 Canvases – 16×20”

Set of acrylic paints

10 – 15 piece paint brush set (a mix of sizes including detail/small brushes

(2) standard drawing pencils

Gum eraser

Gel Medium

Palette or paper plates

Palette knife
