“Zhostovo painting is an old Russian folk handicraft of painting on metal trays, which still exists in a village of Zhostovo in the Moscow Oblast” 

Learn and practice the basic stroke in the Zhostovo style of painting. Learn flat, comma, S and C strokes using a filbert brush. With a liner bruh you will learn to paint filler strokes, borders and embellishments. In this series you will paint 2 ornaments, a wooden box and a small metal tray.

This method allows your own creativity to shine with your choice of colors, movement and content.
