What a great time to be an Alliance Member! 

On September 14th from 10:30am pm – 12:00 pm, we are having our  next Photography Club meeting led by photographer and multi-faceted artist Duncan Metts.

Photography Prompt: “Minimalism”

This is a great chance to experiment with simplicity—using negative space, focusing on a single subject, or playing with light and shadow. Minimalism is all about stripping down to the essentials and making every element count.

Updates on How our Club Meetings Will Go

We’re making a few changes to help us get the most out of our time together:

1. Submit Only Two Images: To keep our sessions focused and give everyone a chance to share, please submit no more than two images. This will allow us to dive deeper into each photo.
2. Ask for Specific Feedback: When you submit your images, think about what you’d like feedback on. Maybe you were going for a minimalist look but aren’t sure it works, or maybe there’s something specific you struggled with. During the club meeting, you’ll have a chance to present your image and ask for feedback on these areas. This way, we can help each other improve.
3. At the end of the meeting, if there’s time left, we will take a deeper look at changes or updates though could be made to the images via editing/post production.
