What is a Mermaid’s Wish?

The Mermaid’s Wish is the painting on the base of each vessel/inside of the ornament. The energy of the ocean helps create the whispers of the mermaids in the flow of each color. The colors swirl and dance like the oceans waves, and the wish is yours to choose!!
This class will discuss and demonstrate a brief overview of the process to paint each mermaid’s wish and a walk through of the process used to seal and reinforce each piece. Due to time restraints of the long drying process of both the painting and the 2 part resin step-
in this class we will finish off each pre-painted piece with natural gemstones, Sanibel Seashells and other delicate finishings. The Instructor will share a small gallery of work as she explains the assembly process and finishing with the use of UV resin. The real fun happens when each
student opens their box of assorted Mermaid’s wish bases.

All supplies are provided for a $35 fee paid directly to the Instructor at the beginning of class.
