A UNIQUE AND CAPTIVATING EXPERIENCE.
Young women are mysteriously disappearing in the small town of Aberdeen, Mississippi, pop. estimated at 5,218. Come join us as we watch actor Frank Blocker perform a tale of love and crime in this one-man show, which he also wrote.
The mystery unfolds as the talented Mr. Blocker portrays 17 diverse characters such as protagonist Viola Haygood (the love-starved, southern belle virgin with shades of Scarlett O’Hara), Mrs. Wong (the owner of what appears to be the only Chinese restaurant in town), Odessa (the African American tavern owner), and, yes, even a June bug, providing sound effects throughout the show.
This dark comedy showcases the incredible range and versatility of Mr. Blocker, whose talents have been compared to those of Robin Williams.
