Leigh Shein

Leigh Shein took his first improv class with Second City in 1979 – while still in high school. Over the years he has done improv with Dick Schaal, Washington Improv Theatre, Bay Area Improv Theatre, and WoW Improv. Leigh has appeared in community and professional productions including Opera Tampa, as “Sword-fighting-later-dead Roman General” at the Kennedy Center and as “Action” in West Side Story where he was awarded “Best Improved Singer”.  Leigh has also hosted radio shows in Chicago and Boston, done voiceovers, worked in event production, TV engineering, management and political consulting, as well as for the U.S. Government and even sold mobile homes in the South of France where he held the “No. 1 Salesman” honor. Leigh won an Original Short Play Award from the Gulfshore Playhouse and recently co-wrote and starred in “Who Killed the Rabbi”.  He currently directs Harry’s Senior Moment, appears in Bonita City Improv, writes and teaches.
