The Agitators by Mat Smart
January 17 – 27

This is the story of the enduring, but tempestuous 45-year friendship of Susan B. Anthony and Fredrick Douglass- from its beginning in Rochester, through a Civil War and to the highest halls of government. They agitated the nation, they agitated each other and, in doing so, they helped shape the Constitution and the course of American history.

Rancho Mirage by Steven Dietz
May 9 – 19

When best friends gather in Rancho Mirage — the name of both the new play and the deceptively idyllic subdivision of playwright Steven Dietz’s imagination — bottles of wine aren’t the only things that are opened and served. Old wounds, ancient grudges, petty swipes, recitations of the angst and despair marinating behind sun-dappled doors: These are the pass-arounds that really get the party started.
